What is Cabinet Refacing and Refinishing?
Refacing is an economical alternative to replacing your cabinets. We can turn your old, worn-out looking
kitchens into a source of pride without the inconvenience, time and cost of total remodeling. Rather than planning
total replacement of your cabinets, you have the option of refacing them. In most cases, you will save up to half of
the the cost in material and labour.
Refacing means putting a new face on your existing cabinets. We start by removing the cabinet doors,
drawer fronts and hardware. Then we make all the necessary repairs to your cabinets. Next, we cover all the
exposed cabinet areas with real wood or wood veneer. New matching doors, drawer fronts and the hardware of your
choice in style and color are then installed to give your kitchen a complete new look. We can also install decorative
moldings to tie everything together.
Refacing & Refinishing
Refinishing is also an economical alternative to replacing your cabinets.
By changing the color of your existing
cabinet frames, doors and drawers, you can experience a modern look for a considerable savings. The initial process is
similar to that of refacing - any required repairs are done in advance of painting your existing cabinets. Your existing
doors and drawer fronts can simply be painted or, if you wish, new matching doors, drawer fronts and the hardware of
your choice in style and color can be installed to give your kitchen a completely new look. Even if you did not previously
have any decorative moldings, we can install them to tie everything together.
